Surat Cinta

Hi everyone and anyone who comes by my blog. Yes I am still alive and no I am not fully ok..but life is good! and for that I made a lil something for my beloved. I will fill the envelope(inspired by maya road hahaha) with my surat cinta(love notes/letter) I am so grateful to have him in my life. He has been a real support and for that I am a very lucky and blessed.

I did this with a Hero Art stamp embossed with clear embossing powder and rub in distress inks and then blend with a wet paint brush ala Tami Hartley/Jen McGuire(she calls it embossed layered resist).

Hopefully I will update my blog more often. I have another ATC I want to do along with Ronda :)

P/S: since my eyes are wonky and rather contagious now am refraining from going to my parent's place...where my painter tray is at. I did promise someone I was gonna post some piccas. will do it once am better.

week 1: old is new again
I did not have anything old/vintage. so I distressed and tried to make it look old.

tissue paper layer technique..very fun to do. Although I kind of forgot that ATCs are small so I ran out of space.



Week 3: Brought to you by the letter _________________

Using glue stick and Utee for the most yummy and unusual texture. very fun to do!

the song was humming in my head so I made an ATC hehehe

technique/products used : kraft paper heat embossed with lace stamping, colourwash using stream, maya road journaling thingy written with nib pen using india ink refill(was the only ink I had), heidi swapp chipboard flower painted with teal paint plus gold mica thingy, 7 gypsies "keep out" stamp using ink and red paint, daughter's happy meal box for the hot balloon and bird image.

colourful

this is my first LO for the year twenty ten. I decided to do a no holds bar, no rules applied LO. I stamped the starburst hero arts stamp using my favourite distress inks!! (errrr can you believe it there are more new colours to come arghh). I then cut out the stamp images and layered them, in fact I just cut it at a whim..so much fun to get so many different shapes from just one stamp.

talking about the new year am not about to make any new resolutions I will just go with the flow.

I have been trying to post this altered journal since the 30th of December after a few try I just got plain lazy.

celebration wishes

The new year is fast approaching and I have doing some cards for a card swap I am participating in.

I never thought stamping and colouring pretty girls would be so satisfying. In fact I am looking forward to giving them away to my lovely friends...wishing and hoping they will have a good year ahead, and same goes to whomever who comes by this way..to my humble blog.
